Hello!
I’m Sarah, a practising medical doctor of 13 years, that became obsessed with all things healing, from the roots up.
After graduating as a doctor from Imperial College London with Distinction, I went on to train as a GP after falling in love with following the patient journey with a holistic focus. I always found the contradiction between pharmaceutical medicine and health difficult to swallow (ahem), but I always knew that I was obsessed with all things health- mental, emotional, physical and spiritual.
Working as a doctor and living a really busy London life, I suddenly felt something snap inside of me, and I didn’t have a period for 6 years. I was told that I may not be able to have children.
During this time, my hormones wreaked havoc- I put on 2 stone in weight, constantly felt sluggish, heavy, bloated, puffy, with constant breakouts. I began to eat less and less, became orthorexic and exercised more intensely, but no matter what I did, it made me feel worse and worse.
I went to see endocrinologists and gynaecologists who told me that my pituitary gland- the master controller of hormones had shut down. I wasn’t given any reason as to why it happened, and no solution that helped me. I was given replacement hormones, which also made me feel worse.
This led me to a long and winding health journey where I changed my diet, lifestyle, tried almost every complementary therapy under the sun, I’ve studied Medical Acupuncture, Vedic meditation, even Herbal Medicine and Naturopathy. I went on silent retreats, detox retreats, yoga retreats, meditation retreats, plant medicine retreats. I did different types of therapy, and cried a ton.
It dawned on me that all my life I hadn’t known how to process the pain & grief from losing my mum to suicide when I was 14, and this had led me on a rampage of partying & self-destruction later in life.
I felt a deep sense of unworthiness, self-consciousness and fear of rejection throughout my teens & twenties, and it was destroying my relationships. And this was the pileup which led to this stress-induced hypopituitism.
I was on a mission to learn and use all the ways of healing the physical and emotional effects of big & small traumas, that were so blindingly missing from conventional medicine.
And after years of healing my body, I discovered that subconscious releasing techniques made the biggest shifts for me…
Within about 6 months of starting, my metabolism returned and my periods came back. Shortly after this, I fell pregnant, and then a second time. Now I am a mother of two; I have a lovely family, and have never been more content (as well as being chaos most of the time!)
Through these powerful trauma releasing techniques that work directly at the subconsious level- Rapid Resolution Therapy, Havening, along with NLP and Clinical Hypnosis, I saw how the results were so much more profound and easy than anything else I’d seen before.
Through doing RRT & Havening on myself, things that still used to reduce me to tears suddenly neutralised.
But I also began to notice my lifelong fear of public speaking, Imposter syndrome and fears around having my own business & online presence, just faded. In a totally natural & effortless way. I am also the most passionate & impactful in the work I do NOW, whilst also having the freedom to work on my terms.
And this is what I do now~ to share this with anyone who wants to overcome their fears & blocks, to go on & do whatever it is that you most desire.
I use a potent combo of these techniques to effortlessly clear these blocks with you, without the painstaking and sometimes gruelling endless therapy sessions, without the need to open up old wounds, without the need for endless grieving and tears.
Resolution of blocks is so much faster and lasting than with talking therapy, and you will also become more equipped and resilient to take on any obstacles you face.
There is a reported 93% success rate in PTSD with hypnotherapy after 6 sessions, compared to a 38% success rate with 600 sessions of psychotherapy!
And this is because… the unhelpful habits, blocks, fears are released & cleared from where they are generated~ from the subconscious, the effects are automatic, natural and lasting. Talking therapy just doesn’t get close, as it’s operating only from the cognitive mind, and these things aren’t consciously chosen.
Together we can free what has been getting in your way, by engaging subconscious mind, instantly freeing up space and energy, unleashing your optimal version and ability to do the things that you felt you have been blocked from doing and feeling
Hypnotherapy does not involve losing control or being unconscious. You are always in control of your mind & actions, & hypnosis describes a process that allows profound perspective & belief shifting whilst your mind is in a relaxed state, similar to when you are daydreaming, driving on autopilot or engrossed in a film. Therapeutic hypnosis is light, and you are conscious throughout (and not like that used in stage hypnosis!)
It feels most similar to a guided meditation, but with more specific language & technique.
